With over 20 years of experience I always try to continue to develop new ideas and to stay up to date with the latest methods in the field of teaching.
Today, I consider myself more a language adviser or “coach”, rather than a teacher in the traditional sense. I like to promote the learning process of my students by working in small groups, creating a space where they feel comfortable to express themselves in Spanish and where they can get a real sense of the Spanish culture.
I work mostly through textbooks with a communicative approach and I like to combine them with tools online, effective and playful activities in and outside the class to match every group dynamics and to keep them active with the Spanish language and culture.
First of all, I meet up with my students beforehand to get acquainted with him/her; it allows me to get a better understanding of what the student’s level is, what they hope to achieve from the course and what his/her personal way of learning is. From there, I can assign the appropriate level, program, or course for the student.
I look forward to meeting you, to make you feel a little bit Spanish, have a good time together and to help you communicate in this beautiful language!
